1965 VW Camper Van Camping Tent – Only $300

Officially licensed 1965 VW Camper Van Tent – if it only had functional safari windows or maybe a rag top!

Clearly a must have for any split window camper van aficionado with about $300 to spend on a tent.

How many VW camper owners with a few too many under their belt will try to become uninvited guests in the middle of the night?

Don’t Lie To Google – Funny Stills from the Google Webmaster Video Series

Media_httpwwwseerinte_rehgy

Image above titled: Don’t Lie To Google

Seer Interactive did a humorous blog post consisting of numerous still images captured from the Google Webmaster video series by Matt Cutts. Perhaps you have to follow SEO to really find it funny. Nevertheless, I suggest checking out the rest of the post, link bait well done!

Amazing Bubbles Over Stinson Beach, CA via Canon T2i

Amazing what this guy can do with bubbles. Brings back fond memories of introducing bubbles to my son for the first time when he was two years old. Boy did he think they were the greatest thing ever. Nice to see you don’t have to be a toddler to still have fun with them.

Why You Need A Camera Tripod – You’re Not as Steady as You Think

Interesting video demonstrating the value not only of using a shutter release with a tripod, but also applying the mirror up function as well. Pretty strong evidence suggesting hand-holding your camera is a pretty flawed practice for razor sharp images.

Scale Aircraft Carrier Made From Lego

German Malle Hawking built this scale model of the Harry S Truman aircraft carrier back in 2006 but I just came across the impressive feat. He hasn’t forgotten any details with working elevators and lights. The ship measures aver 15 feet long and weighs approximately 350 pounds.

Upload Photos Directly from Digital Camera to Mobile Device via Eye-Fi Mobile X2

Today, wireless memory card maker Eye-Fi announced the launch of the new 8 GB Mobile X3 card http://www.eye.fi/products/mobilex2 which allows for auto uploading images directly from your camera to Android, iPhone or iPad mobile devices. It opens up numerous sharing opportunities that are not present on their other models. You can now upload to multiple locations simultaneously via apps like Pixelpipe or selectively share them individually. In addition, you can make some simple edits to photos prior to sharing using mobile apps like Photoshop.

They are not in stores yet but some sites like Amazon are accepting pre-orders. I placed my order, can’t wait to try it out.
